Lunch Hour
It was a normal afternoon in the office. Everyone was busy working, walking from one cubicle to another, faxing, receiving calls, printing some papers, all the normal stuff you can see in an office. At a corner there was a door that leads to another room. On that door, there was a sign written "Dato' Roslan : CEO".
In the CEO's room, Roslan was sitting in front of his table, staring at his monitor while finishing his chocolate bar. There were eyebags under his eyes. As he took the last bite of his chocolate, his eyes started to feel heavy. He was about to fall asleep on his keyboard, suddenly his phone alarm went off. He checked his phone and its written there "Lunch Break". He searched his desk for more chocolates, but all he found were chocolate wrappers. He decided to go out and get some from the vending machine.
Roslan walked towards the vending machine to get some more chocolate. He saw an intern in front of the machine. So he qued behind the intern. The intern put a quarter in the coin slot. He eyed on the glass. There was only ONE chocolate left, the rest are sold out. Roslan was frustrated knowing that fact. He wanted that last chocolate bar no matter what.
The intern then selected the last chocolate bar by pressing the codes on the keypad. The chocolate bar dropped from its metal holder into the receiving compartment. But then the intern realised that "the big boss" wanted the chocolate, so he reluctantly gave the chocolate to his boss. Roslan took it happily, unwrapped it and took a bite.
As he took the first bite he accidently stepped on something on the floor. He realised it was another chocolate bar. He was thinking somebody must have dropped it. Before he took the one under his feet, he then realised that were dozens more on the floor. They somehow made a trail that led to a small room. Feeling rather curios, he followed the chocolate trail, while picking up as much chocolates as his hands can fill.
He reached the small room. It as a normal storeroom. Suddenly the door behind him closed abruptly. There were ropes came out from the walls, tied his arms around his body. The floor suddenly turned into a trapdoor and opened wide, the guy fell deep under, went through a worm-like slides.
He suddenly stopped falling as he reached the end of the slide. He was then pushed forward by the moving floor. And then he saw a very big window in front of him, and there were hundreds of other men standing in front of it, but were aligned properly, and stacked nicely as if there were different floors above and under him. The floor stopped after he reached very near to the window. All of the men were making noise, since they were all,like him, tied and confused. Down below was a dark empty floor.
Looking at the giant window, he saw the intern that bought the chocolate earlier. Only difference, the intern was GIGANTIC. The giant intern was eyeing on them. They all just stood there silently. Suddenly very big "clanking" sound broke the silence. There were a lot of metal clanking sounds going on before it stopped. After a few seconds, Roslan slid down toward the empty floor. A big giant hand appeared through a door, and took Roslan out. He realised that he was inside a giant vending machine. The intern gripped Roslan tightly with his hand, and then "chomp!", bit Roslan's torso off.
Suddenly Roslan's phone alarm went off. He woke up in shock. He checked his phone and its written there "Lunch Break". He was still in his office. He was having a daymare.
